I specialize in the design, implementation, & empirical assessment of environmental enrichment and behavioral management programs for animals in captive and wildlife rehabilitation facilities.
I engage with diverse audiences to encourage participation in science and the natural world through non-formal education and enthusiastic science communication on a variety of platforms.
I have significant experience in exotic animal training, handling, husbandry, nutrition, and habitat maintenance with a variety of aquatic & terrestrial species as an aquarist, exotic animal trainer, and zoo keeper.

When I am not working, the ocean is an essential part of my soul, so I enjoy aquatic activities such as free-diving, tide-pooling, snorkeling, and body-boarding.
